I've needed this to carry my cell phone. Is easy to unclip when I need to answer a call.
I dropped the Treo600 more than a few times. The case did a really good job minimizing the damage. Also, I find it easier to type on the keyboard with the case on because it becomes less slippery.
I haven't experienced the memory card problem with the strap, but the back of the case covers the camera lens. I wish I had read the other reviews before putting this item on my wish list for Christmas. It is definitely an inferior design. I have had conversations interrupted because my headphone jack was not completely plugged in. I would have looked around for a better one since it was a gift request, had a known about it's short comings. Case does not stay centered over the front.
Even though the ear speaker hole does not line up with the speaker, I haven't had the same problem as another reviewer with not being able to hear well enough, however it is indeed very difficult to use the upper part of the touch screen with the stylus. I like the rotating clip, and feel that my Treo is well protected from scratches not. That just doesn't make sense for a product from Palm designed for one of their own. Leather covers the keys on the Left edge and make them difficult to press. The access holes in the bottom interfere with both the sync cable and headphone jacks. I am afraid of punching a hole in the plastic from having to press so hard.
Still not bad for it's current discounted price.
This was a second one, assuming the first had to be defective, but it was the same. WHen trying to use the phone feature you can not hear. The hole in the case does not match up with the Treo. I have to remove the phone to answer it. The only purpose it serves is as a belt clip.
THe case is nice, but it is not fuctional. The plastic cover creates a barrier to your data that does not need to be there. The only thing this case is good for is keeping the phone on your belt buckle. The case is so bad I have thought about cutting a piece of the cover out to make this more fuctional.
